Greater: A 13-year-old schoolboy was today killed after being hit by a state transport bus in Mandi Shyam Nagar area here leading to protest by locals who damaged the vehicle, police said.
Gagan, a student of class VIII, was crossing the road this morning, when the bus coming to Noida from Bulandshahr him leaving him dead, they said.
Angry over the mishap, villagers damaged the bus and blocked traffic on the route, police said.
The blockade was lifted after sometime as senior police officials intervened, they said, adding the bus driver has been arrested.
