A UK school has banned girls from wearing skirts and has ruled that they must wear trousers as part of school uniform.
The Education Chiefs at Diss High School in Norfolk took the decision as a in a crackdown on raunchy clothes as they were alarmed because the girls were wearing “really short skirts”, the Daily Star reported.
Headteacher Jan Hunt said that the rule has been passed as the skirt hemlines had risen to a level that is both impractical as well as immodest.
The school has offered financial support to parents to buy new uniform when the rule is implemented in September. (ANI)
