The Saidabad Police on Monday arrested a Principal of a private school for allegedly molesting a 9th class Muslim student.
According to the sources T.Yogeswar Rao who is working as Correspondent cum secretary of Vikasa Bharati School at Dr.Zakir Hussain Colony Saidabad, on Saturday morning called the girl in his room in the pretext of enquiring about her academic performance. He allegedly misbahaved and tried to molest her.
The girl who is the resident of Baqar Bagh Saidabad raised hue and cry and managed to escape from the clutches of principal. She informed the matter to her parents upon which a complaint was filed with the Saidabad Police. The girl also narrated that since two months she was being sexually harassed by the school principal.
The relatives and locals also staged a protest infront of the school demanding the arrest of the culprit.However the girl was sent to medical examination.
“We have arrested the school secretary for molesting the student girl” said Inspector Saidabad A Srinivas.
