Kolkata, February 14: A Class X girl student consumed poison and died Tuesday after she was apparently scolded by her father for neglecting her studies in West Bengal, police said.
Amrita Tiwary of Srish Chandra Balika Vidyalay in Baharampur, 170 km from here, killed herself Monday night after her father Tanmay Tiwary rebuked her, said Murshidabad Superintendent of Police Humayun Kabir.
