Lucknow, Jul 21: An office superintendent of Jawahar Navodaya School was arrested by the CBI sleuths for allegedly accepting bribe, official sources said here today. S D Singh was arrested in Haidergarh of Barabanki district yesterday while accepting the bribe of Rs five thousand to clear a bill, they said.
He was arrested on a complaint filed by Abhimanyu Singh, a grain supplier who complained that the superintendent was demanding Rs five thousand as bribe to clear the bill of Rs one lakh, officials said.
