New Delhi: Efforts to bring children to school is continued in schools of South Delhi Municipal Corporation. As part of the efforts, school teachers under the department of education are visiting families who are financially weak, whose children were not able to set foot in school due to poverty. More than 100 children have been given admission in Abul Fazal Enclave School, located at Muslim dominated Okhla.
Drive to bring children to school is on at Zakir Nagar, Khizrabad, Masihgarh, Noor Nagar, Madanpur and Abul Fazal Enclave in Batla House.
‘School Chalo Abhiyan’ was started to bring children to school who were not able to set foot in school.
