By the Grace of Allah, this morning we wrapped up another Parent’s motivational session at Mahanagar Childrens Academy, a school located in between Metro city and Fun Mall, Lucknow. Last week, on October 18, we had organized a similar program for the students of Farheen Public College, Hussainabad. Both the programs was chaired by Dr. Sabiha Anwar, Ex-Principal of Karamat Girls Degree College. She took a special motivational session for the teachers of Farheen College also; in fact teachers requested, more such programs are needed for them to motivate the students.
Both of these schools fall in the densely populated areas of our community; where mothers are working either as maids in nearby apartments or taking care of their large families – while fathers remain seclusive to the concerns of the families.
Our community needs more interaction between the less privileged ones and the role models – which is unfortunately not happening much. Role models motivate….they help in carving paths for these bright young students….and they give assurance to the community – that they are the results of the same environment. I request all our busy members of the community to participate more in such programs – where ever they are held……..our community needs them now.
I am sharing few glimpses of these programs via our facebook page link:
