Scholars of Jamiat Ulama join TRS

Hyderabad: Entry of religious scholars and clerics in active politics will help in promotion of clean and honest politics. Public opinion about political leaders is very awful. Entry of religious leaders in active politics was badly needed to change public opinion said Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali while speaking to media here at Ministers’ Quarters, Banajara Hills. He was addressing press persons after scholars, muftis and maulvis belonging to Jamiat Ulama Greater Hyderabad joined TRS party led by Abdul Muqueet Chanda.

Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali declared scholars and clerics as valuable asset for the party. He also declared TRS and Chief Minister as well wishers of the Muslim clerics. We and our government respect clerics he said. He welcomed the religious scholars associated with Jamiat Ulama in the party. Mr. Abdul Muqueet Chanda narrated the history of Jamiat Ulama and said Jamiat Ulama is the organisation of freedom fighters and as many as 10 lakh scholars of the Jamiat were martyred during freedom struggle.
