Uttar Pradesh: Comparing with the Samajwadi Party government, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday claimed that his government’s performance on development front has been far better in the past one year than his predecessor.
Speaking to media at a press conference, Adityanath listed various government schemes and compared the performance of the two governments based on figures.
More toilets have been built, in both rural and urban areas, during past one year under the BJP regime than what the SP did when it was in power.
Yogi said, “While the Samajwadi Party government built 17,700 toilets, our government constructed more than 57,700 toilets in one year. In the urban areas, the SP government built 3,000 toilets while we have built 4,386 toilets in just one year. No houses were built under the Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojna – Gramin during the SP government whereas we have built 4,083 houses.”
He further listed many developmental works under various state and national schemes such as ‘Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojna’, ‘Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna’, ‘Saubhagya Yojna’, etc and compared the performance of the two governments.
The Uttar Pradesh CM earlier on Saturday had claimed that the standard of people in the state has improved since the BJP government came to power. (ANI)
