Secretary minority welfare Mr. Dana Kishore has directed the officials of the department to present a scheme through which poor Muslims can also perform holy pilgrimage. He convened a review meet on the performance of state hajj committee.
Executive officer Hajj committee Mr. Abdul Hameed, secretary director Urdu Academy Dr. S A Shukoor and managing director minority finance corporation Dr. Ilyas Razvi and others participated in the meeting.
Secretary minority welfare told that every Muslim aspires to go for Holy pilgrimage but poor people are deprived of the blessings due to lack of money. He proposed to prepare a scheme under which a particular amount is deposited every month in any government institution, this amount is used for doing a business the actual money must be added up in the profit till it becomes sufficient for Hajj tour.
