Hyderabad: Sharai Faisla Board (Telangana) has termed the recent verdict of Supreme Court regarding triple talaq as interference in Shariah; and announced to launch an awareness campaign to mobilize public opinion across the country. President Tahreek Muslim Shabban Mr. Mushtaq Malik told this following a meeting of Sharai Faisla Board held at Media Plus Auditorium, Nizamia Complex, Gunfoundry.
Present on the occasion were Maulana Mufti Mahboob Shareef Nizami, Maulana Syed Durvesh Muhiuddin, Mr. Hamed Mohammed Khan President Jamat Islami Hindi Telangana and Odisha, Maulana Safi Abrar Ahmed, Maulana Yousuf Zahed Mazahari, Chairman Khadi and Village board, Mr. Osman Shaheed advocate, Mr. Waheed Ahmed advocate and others.
Mr. Mushtaq Malik told that the Supreme Court decision is against the basic tenets of Quran and also interference in Sharia. Mr. Yousuf Zahed Mazhari said that by raising triple talaq issue, they plan to enforce Uniform Civil Code, which Muslims will never tolerate.
