Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha on Wednesday announced that he would submit Cabinet Sub-Committee’s report on SC-ST Sub-Plan to the State Government by August 25.
Talking to media persons after meeting Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at the State Secretariat, Rajanarasimha said that the report would be submitted to the Chief Minister on August 25. He said that the Committee would make strong recommendations to check misuse of funds apart from suggesting steps for initiating serious action against the officials responsible for diversion of funds.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the government would release Rs 200 crores to universities in the State to clear arrears. He also informed that the government was considering a proposal to distribute health cards for staff of universities. (INN)
