New Delhi: The Apex Court has agreed to hear a petition seeking probe into medical admission scam which allegedly involved a former Orissa High Court’s Judge.
Counsel Dushyant Dave filed a petition on Wednesday seeking SIT probe into the case and sought an early hearing of the same.
The bench headed by Justice J. Chelameswar agreed to hear the matter later.
But after the post-lunch session on Wednesday, it was known that the matter was assigned to another bench by Chief Justice Dipak Misra.
Earlier in September, a probe into the alleged medical admission scam led by the CBI have resulted in arrests of a retired former Orissa High Court judge Ishrat Masroor Quddusi and five others which included chairman of the Private medical college in Lucknow.
