New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed petition seeking Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate into admission of Madhya Pradesh-Pre Engineering Test (PET) which was held in 2012-13.
The plea in the Supreme Court was filed by activist Anand Rai.
In his petition, Rai had alleged that irregularities and a gross misconduct was being done by students in the entrance examinations, so a CBI investigation should be made into the case.
Albeit, a bench of the Apex Court headed by Justice Ranjan Gogoi, comprising Justice Navin Sinha, did not find any merit in the petition thus refused to hear it and dismissed it. (ANI)
