SC cancels Vijaysai bail

The Supreme Court has cancelled the bail of Vijaysai Reddy, second accused in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Disproportionate Assets (DA) case.

The apex court has given the verdict based on the complaint that Vijaysai Reddy is the kingpin in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy dealings and if he is free he will influence the witnesses. Agreeing with the CBI’s view, the Court has cancelled the interim bail of Vijaysai Reddy.

The court has asked him to surrender before June. The Supreme Court has asked the CBI to complete the investigation within four months.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has also rejected the bail petition of Nimmagadda Prasad.

In all, the Supreme Court has favoured CBI on all the three counts. It has rejected bail to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Nimmgadda Prasad while it cancelled the bail of Vijaysai Reddy. (INN)
