New Delhi : The Supreme Court on Wednesday directed Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and his brother Shivpal Yadav to file their replies in connection with a case of releasing Rs. 100 crore to Chaudhary Charan Singh Degree College in Etawah.
The apex court took a strong exception to the delay in filing of replies by the duo.
The Supreme Court even intended to impose a fine of Rs. two lakh, it changed the order but on request of the counsels of the Yadav brothers.
The apex court further issued a notice to the PWD and Management Committee of the college.
A petition was challenged earlier with regard to the release of funds to Chaudhary Charan Singh Degree College, Etawah, from the contingency funds. (ANI)
