New Delhi: State Bank of India (SBI) revised its ATM, cash transaction and other service charges which will be effective from today.
According to the news published in TOI, SBI will charge Rs. 25 per transaction for withdrawal from ATMs through its mobile wallet app. SBI mobile wallet allows cardless ATM withdrawals.
It is also reported that for a basic saving account, SBI will charge fees for bank branch and ATMs withdrawal beyond four free transactions. For a regular saving account, SBI will charge for ATM transactions beyond 8 free transactions in metro cities and 10 free transactions in non-metro cities in a month.
Moreover, SBI will charge Rs. 5 + service tax for amounts less than or equal to Re. 1 lakh for online fund transfers through IMPS. Above Re. 1 lakh and up to Rs. 2 lakh bank will charge Rs. 15+ service tax and for the transaction of above Rs. 2 lakh and up to Rs. 5 lakh, it will charge Rs.25+ service tax.
From today, if Basic Saving Account customers want to avail chequebook facility, they need to pay Rs 30 + service tax for 10 leaf chequebook, Rs. 75 + service tax for 25 leaf chequebook and Rs. 150 + service tax for a 50 leaf chequebook.
These new SBI charges on different services are applicable from today onward.
