SBI new circle inaugurated at Koti

In SBI, on the eve of formation of New Telangana Circle from Monday, Hardayal Prasad, Chief General Manager,  inaugurated the New Circle by lighting a lamp and  addressed the staff members at local Head Office at Koti.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Hardayal Prasad stated “consequent upon merger of five associate banks and Bharatiya Mahila Bank, the SBI has emerged as the 45th largest Bank in World with a branch network of 22,500, 58,000 ATMs, 2,77,000+ staff  and with a balance sheet size of  Rs.42.00 lakh Crores. Now SBI is aiming to reach 30thPosition in the world by 2020” with an increased network of branches and additional staff force, he stressed upon the need for more focus on  Customer Satisfaction and an effective implementation of digital products of the Bank.

 

Hitherto SBI has 14 circles in the country and upon merger, two more Administrative & Business units have been formed in Andhra Pradesh and Rajastan. The newly formed Telangana Circle will cater the needs of 31 districts of Telangana State with 1300 Branches, 2500 ATMs.
