Madina, June 13: A Saudi-born US wife kissed her two daughters then jumped out of the window of her apartment in a high-rise building in Saudi Arabia to plunge to her death, newspapers in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Monday.
The unnamed woman, who was staying with her mother and two children in the western town of Madina, is believed to have suffered from psychiatric and neurological disorders before she decided to commit a suicide, they said.
Her brother, quoted by the local media, said she had entered a room, performed evening prayers and suddenly entered into a state of hysterical shouting.
“Then she started beating her young daughter and all members of the family intervened to save the little girl from her mother’s attack,” he said. “She calmed down a little, asked to see her two girls, kissed them and jumped out.”
