Saudi envoy to India visits Makkah Masjid, offers Friday prayer

Hyderabad: The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to India, Dr. Saud Mohammed Al-Sati yesterday offered Friday prayer at historical Makkah Masjid. He reached Makkah Masjid along with Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali where he addressed the devotees. He mentioned Indo-Saudi cordial relations and his long-lasting association with Hyderabad. He said he likes Hyderabad very much. Saudi envoy to India expressed happiness over offering prayer at historical Makkah Masjid and appreciated the Khutba (Friday sermon) delivered by Hafez Mohammed Rizwan Quraishi, Khateeb and Imam of Makkah Masjid.

Dr. Saud Mohammed Al-Sati asserted that Khadim ul Haramain Sharifain Malik Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and Saudi Arabia has been serving the guests of Allah for years and Saudis feel it as honour to serve the Hajis.

Secretary Minority Welfare Department Mr. Omer Jaleel, Imam Makkah Masjid Maulana Hafez Osman Naqshbandi, head Mufti Jamia Nizamia Maulana Mufti Mohammed Azeemuddin, Congress leader Meraj Mohammed and others were also present at the time of Friday prayer. Dr. Saud Mohammed Al-Sati declared Hyderabad as the historical and hospitable city and wished to visit Hyderabad again & again.
