Chandigarh: Two Indians by name Satwinder Kumar and Harjeet Singh who had murdered their fellow Indian were beheaded in Saudi Arabia in the month of February this year.
According to the report published in Times of India, the convicts belong to Hoshiarpur and Ludhiana. Saudi authorities did not inform the Indian Embassy about the execution.
The victim of the crime is identified as Imamuddin. Kumar and Singh had killed Imamuddin after a quarrel over the distribution of looted money.
Execution of Satwinder Kumar and Harjeet Singh came to light after Kumar’s wife filed a petition.
In the letter which was received by Kumar’s wife on Monday, it was disclosed that Satwinder Kumar and Harjeet were executed on 28th February 2019 without informing the embassy.
Bodies of both the convicts were not handed over to the embassy as the Saudi system does not allow it.
