Saudi Arabia, Iran should unite on Quran, Sunnah: Imam-e-Ka’aba urges

Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Khalid-al-Ghamidi has reiterated on Sunday that Saudi Arabia and Iran should shun their differences to get united on the Holy Quran and Sunnah terming it core responsibility of every Muslims.

In an exclusive interview with Geo News, the Imam-e-Ka’aba said the unity of the Muslim Ummah is the need of the hour and the enemies wanted to hurt Muslims by making division within their ranks.

“As the Imam of Haram Sharif, I call upon all Muslims, whether it is our Saudi or Iranian brothers, to unite over the Holy Quran and Sunnah. Today, our enemy does not want to see us united. They want to see us divided like this,” he said in an interview with Saleem Safi.

“A Muslim is the flag-bearer of Quran and Sunnah. It is critical that we unite while shunning sectarian differences,” he said.

The Imam termed the Taliban and Daesh as Khwarij for making the wrong interpretations of Islam.
