Satya Pal Malik wants to become Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir: BJP Gagan Bhagat

Srinagar: The dissident BJP leader Dr Gagan Bhagat who has challenged Governor Satya Pal Malik’s decision in the Supreme Court said that state Governor Satya Pal Malik wants to become Chief Minister of the state. He said the Governor had no reason to dissolve the Assembly and the reasons given by him have no basis.

Gagan Bhagat said there is no Muslim cook at Raj Bhavan in Jammu from the last 3 decades. He was referring to Governor’s claim that there was no cook on Eid-Milad-un-Nabi day (November 21) at Raj Bhavan in Jammu.

The disgruntled BJP leader termed dissolution of Assembly on November 21 as “unconstitutional and undemocratic”. He said there are malafide intention behind this all and it has become more clear that Satya Pal Malik wanted to become a CM than a Governor to run the state.

Bhagat asserted Satya Pal Malik has been a politician. He has also changed four parties. At first, he was in Congress then in Samajwadi party then joined BJP.
