Sathya Nadella, CEO of IT giant Microsoft today visited Hyderabad branch MIDC at Gatchibowli here. This is his maiden trip to Hyderabad after taking over the reigns Satya is understood to have exhorted the staff at the Hyderabad office to work in unison to achieve the goals of company.
During his key note address along with top officials, Nadella is said to have asked the employees to go in tandem with fellow employees and enhance productivity. While sharing future plans of the company Nadella is known to have asked the employees to translate ideas to make aims and objectives to become reality.
Nadella is on a two-day visit to Hyderabad and is likely to attend a NASSCOM workshop at Delhi on Tuesday. Interestingly, Satya’s meeting with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was kept under wraps despite they are said to have exchanged views on expansion plans and new industrial policy by the government. Though the details of the meeting were not divulged, it is said that the meeting with KCR is being considered to give a fillip to the IT industry in Hyderabad through expansion.
KCR is learnt to have asked Satya to set up Microsoft units in other cities and provide job opportunities to local talent who need skill development. According to information, the Microsoft Chief also rang up AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and shared his views with regard to setting up of new units in the State. It may be noted that Naidu urged the company to set up units in AP post bifurcation and help develop the State. (NSS)
