Former Union Minister Sarvey Satyanarayana has strongly condemned the criticism by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao against the Congress party.
Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Sarvey said that the Chief Minister was focusing more on politics than bringing development in the Telangana State. KCR has been referring to the Congress party while blaming the previous regimes for lack of development in Telangana. He said it was the TDP regime which had ignored Telangana region. However, the Congress party brought immense development and today’s surplus budget of Telangana was due to the efforts made by Congress Government from 2004-2014.
Sarvey said that the Congress party granted statehood to Telangana by giving a major sacrifice of Seemandhra region. Instead of being thankful to the Congress, the Chief Minister is wrongly targeting it only to divert the people’s attention from his failures, he said.
