New Delhi, April 01: With the arrest of a person, police today claimed to have solved a murder case in which body of a man was recently found in a park in Sarai Rohilla in North District.
“With the arrest of Roshan Kumar alias Munna, 23, police has solved the murder case of 40-year-old Punjab Singh, whose body was found in 56 Bigha Park in Sarai Rohilla yesterday,” said Rupinder Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, North District.
Singh’s body was lying under a palm tree and his throat was slit with a sharp edged weapon and also there was a deep stab wound on his abdomen. Police had found a voter ID card to establish his identity as Punjab Singh, resident of J J Colony in Wazirpur. There was no eye-witness in the case.
