Mumbai, August 15: The grapevines that had been churning for so long that Sanjay Dutt has an objection with wife Manyata’s sizzling item song in Prakash Jha’s Gangajal.
Though her cheesy number is a history now, it came back into news after the film was technically surfaced. Industry insiders revealed that Sanjay Dutta wasn’t too pleased seeing Manyata in such lights and eventually requested the filmmaker Prakash Jha to crop her part.
However, the latest update says that Sanjay have rubbishes all such speculations and has made clear that there is no truth in the reports that shows that he is embarrassed with his wife. Instead, the actors say that he is proud of his wife and her decisions that she had taken in the past.
“Maanyata is the love of my life and I am proud of her choices. I am not embarrassed about the song, so there is no question of me wanting to have it removed,” said the actor.
The actor doesn’t stop praising only his wife but also moves further appreciating the director for his work in the film. “Prakash Jha is a sensible and talented director you cannot expect nonsense from him. The song in the film is an important requirement as it takes the story forward; it’s not for mere entertainment purpose,” clarifies the actor.
Well, Sanjay, do you really feel proud seeing your wife in that cheesy item number?…hmmm
