Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt kicked off the week by resuming shoot for the action-adventure film titled ‘Shamshera’ which is being directed by Karan Malhotra. Amid so many speculations about his health and chosen course of treatment, Sanju Baba bounced back to work on Monday.
A source close to Sanjay Dutt informed media about the actor’s news of stepping back on to work and said, “The film has been stuck following the six-month coronavirus-induced lockdown and Sanjay did not want to delay it further. So, even though he is currently undergoing treatment, he reported at a city studio on Monday, taking all the necessary precautions and following SOPs while on the set.”
Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, Shamshera also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor. The project is a period film set in the 19th century and the story is about a tribe fighting against the British for their rights and independence.
