Mumbai, September 13: The next edition of Bigg Boss is set to be a ripper. Sources say that the organisers are offering a huge sum to Hyderabad’s own Sania Mirza and her cricketer hubby Shoaib Malik to appear on the show.
But following the ongoing controversies in Pakistani cricket, Shoaib might not be able to make it and his new begum is apparently not willing to appear alone. Sania’s family however, denies that they will be seen on the show.
If Sania and Shoaib can’t make it, Pakistani actress Veena Malik will fill the gap and hopefully bare some more skeletons from the neighbouring country’s cricketing cupboard and her former boyfriend Mohammed Asif.
It is, however, not confirmed whether actress Neetu Chandra, who has also been allegedly connected with Asif, will grace the show. Neetu’s publicist, in the meantime, is busy stating that she is at a rehearsal and might not be on the show. “There are reports about Neetu Chandra going to Bigg Boss to defend herself against Veena Malik’s claims that Neetu and Asif were an item. I am yet to confirm with Neetu as her phone is on silent due to rehearsals. I am not sure if she would agree to Bigg Boss even if the monies are huge.”
The show may also boast of people like bar dancer Tarannum, who was also connected to the match fixing controversy, and actress Sara Ali Khan, of Bidaai fame. The actress had earlier denied claims that she would be on the show.
Singer Shaan aka Shantanu Mukherjee, Chunkey Pandey, Shiney Ahuja (not confirmed as his case is sub-judice), and Manoj Tiwari have also been approached to be on the reality show which is going to be hosted by Salman Khan this time.
Rahul Mahajan’s wife Dimpy Ganguly will also be there talking about her husband and his wife-beating habits and other women.
It will ultimately be the proverbial “full house” if veteran actor Rajesh Khanna who refused to participate last year comes on board with his own conditions for four to six episodes for a whopping Rs 3 crore.
From sports stars to socialites to actors to ex-cons the coming season might have it all if controversial thief and recently-out-of-jail Davinder Singh, on whom the film Oye Lucky Lucky Oye was based decides to appear on the show as well.
