Madrid, May 05: India’s Sania Mirza and Elena Vesnina of Russia stormed into the quarterfinals of the women’s doubles event at the Madrid Masters tennis tournament.
Sania-Elena overcame Russia’s Nadia Petrova and Anastasia Rodionova of Australia 6-3, 7-5.
They now play Czech Kveta Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik of Slovenia.
