Sangita Reddy, Executive Director, Apollo Hospitals, participated in ‘Inti Intiki Thornam’ campaign to promote the candidature of her husband and Chevella Lok Sabha Candidate Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, at M.A.Nagar, Miyapur on Sunday.
As part of the campaign Ms Reddy went door to door, met people and spoke to them. Over 200 workers from various parties joined the TRS in her presence on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering she said that ‘Inti Intiki Thoranam’ has received good response and people feel good about someone coming to their door step and wishing them well. She said Telangana struggle was more about development of the region, therefore it is just the beginning. TRS will bring progress and Hyderabad and Telangana will be the best, she added. The condition of roads, drainage, drinking water and other civic facilities are appalling, mosquito breeding is rampant and the demands of the people are these basic infrastructure and facilities. Today the youth are better educated but there are no jobs which match their qualification and are left unemployed, this is depressing for the youth and their families.
She pointed that Vishweshwar Reddy joined politics to improve the lot of the people of Telangana. He was happy with his professional and personal accomplishments, but was saddened by the plight of the people in Telangana and that’s when he started an NGO – Telangana Progressive Forum and was working towards developing employable skills of Telangana youth. It was KCR who convinced him to take a plunge into politics to multiply his effort and reach out to more people. Vishweshwar Reddy has adopted a more meticulous approach to solve the problems of the people. He is visiting villages and recording the deficiencies and difficulties people are facing, as part of ‘Voices for Vish.’ People could also send their grievances through video recordings, emails, sms. He will document and display all of them on website, a unified plan is prepared and a separate secretariat he intends to set up will monitor the implementation and seek feedback from the beneficiaries. His objective is to make Chevella a model constituency, she said.
Sangeetha Reddy said Vishweshwar, is for value based and clean politics with abundant commitment to the people of his constituency. She appealed to the voters to vote for both MP and MLAs from TRS, there can be better coordination and team work to solve your problems if both are from TRS, she added. TRS students’ wing president Sairam Goud, Uday, Suhas Goud, Raju, Ashok and other TRS leaders were present on the occasion. (INN)
