New Delhi : Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam’s love story ‘Sanam Re’ has managed to surpass Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur’s ` Fitoor,’ earning Rs. 5.04 crore on the first day of its release.
Film Critic Taran Adarsh confirms the news by tweeting, “#SanamRe Fri ? 5.04 cr. India biz.”
While Abhishek Kapoor’s directorial, based on Charles Dickens’ novel ‘Great Expectations,’ has earned Rs 3.61 crore on its first day.
Directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, ‘Sanam Re’ also stars veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and depicts a love triangle between Yami, Pulkit and Urvashi Rautela.
The coming days will throw more light at the Box Office clash of both movies.(ANI)
