Raipur, August 18: Throat swab samples of 127 suspected cases of Swine Flu have been sent for tests to National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD), New Delhi, an official said today here.
Including 37 swab samples of suspected Swine Flu patients taken on Monday, a total of 127 samples have been sent to NICD for tests so far, state’s health director, Dr Pramod Singh said.
He said the state was well equipped to tackle the situation arising out of Swine Flu spread.
The state has sufficient quantity of medicines and other equipments, he said.
The test reports from NICD had confirmed three persons in the state to be suffering from Swine Flu.
The positive cases are being treated at their homes under the supervision of doctors, he said.
