Lucknow, June 05: The two-day eighth national convention of Samajwadi Party will be held in Agra from Tuesday, an official spokesman said here today.
On the first day, the convention will be inaugurated by SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav after which election of the national president and executive members will be held, party spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary said.
He said that later in the day deliberations would be made on the economic and political resolutions.
On the eve of the convention on June 6 a meeting of the national executive committee to be chaired by Yadav would be held during which discussions on the economic and political resolutions and other important matters will take place, Chaudhary said.
