BJP leader Kiran Bedi on Sunday saluted the sagacity of her party and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for coming together for the sake of the country’s integrity and unity.
“We salute the sagacity of BJP+ PDP for coming together for sake of integrity and unity of India. Now stay on course and take d State forward,” Bedi tweeted.
“Jammu and Kashmir be prepared for a huge surge in tourism this summer which will return prosperity to the State. It is truly most beautiful,” she added.
Earlier in the day, PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was sworn-in as the Chief Minister of J-K and BJP leader Nirmal Singh took oath as the Deputy chief minister.
He was administered the oath of office by Governor NN Vohra at the General Zorawar Singh Auditorium in Jammu University.
Mufti will be heading a PDP-BJP coalition government in the state, ending the 49-day Governor’s rule in the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and party veteran L K Advani were among those who attended the ceremony(ANI)
