New Delhi: After securing a house-full opening on the first day, Salman Khan starrer ‘ ‘ Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has crossed Rs.200 crore mark in India.
Without facing much competition from any other flick, Sooraj Barjatya’s family drama has accumulated Rs. 201.52 crores till now.
Confirming the news, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#PremRatanDhanPayo [Week 2] Fri 5.50 cr, Sat 6.70 cr, Sun 8.20 cr, Mon 2.70 cr, Tue 2.70 cr, Wed 2.90 cr. Total: ? 201.52 cr. India biz.”
The romantic film’s producer Fox Star wrote, “#PremRatanDhanPayo crosses 200 Crore nett & becomes the 2nd film to do so in 2015! Collections today stand at 201.52 Crore @BeingSalmanKhan.”
Previously, the movie had broken ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s’ opening day record.
The film, starring Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Anupam Kher, was released on November 12, a day after Diwali. (ANI)
