Salman Khan is the king of the Eid weekend at the box-office. Over the last three years the actor has had consecutive hits in Wanted, Dabangg and Bodyguard during the date. Now he’s all set to release Ek Tha Tiger during Eid this year.
To ensure the film is a sure fire hit and the marketing team goes all out to promote it, the producers Yash Raj films are leaving no stone unturned to ensure they deliver a huge hit.
They have asked the distributors to figure out the numbers from Khan’s previous Eid outings (Wanted, Dabanggand Bodyguard). The production house wants to come up with the right formula to make sure they get the biggest opening of the year at the box-office. However, it will face competition from Aamir Khan’s Talaash which has a June release date and is set to break all previous records.
