Mumbai, September 10: Salman Khan’s much hyped upcoming flick ‘Wanted’ that was under strict observation by the Hon. Supreme Court due to a financial conflict between the producer Boney Kapoor and LMB Holdings of B4U group has now been cleared and will soon be hitting the silverscreen.
All Salman lovers can now breathe a sigh of relief Salman’s Wanted is releasing as per the schedule on September 18th. The court permitted the release of the movie only after movie’s producer Boney Kapoor proposed to deposit the sum of Rs.2 crore to the Bombay High Court as security.
Salman Khan’s Wanted almost ruined to see the theaters after LMB Holdings Limited, a B4U group company, claimed the rights to Wanted for an advance of Rs.10 crore paid in 2007 to produce films in a combined project.
The Bombay High Court had earlier asked Boney Kapoor to deposit Rs 10 crore with the court’s registry as a security deposit. But the producer challenged the order and took the matter to the Supreme Court where the court reportedly has given the decision in Boney’s favor.
