Salem produced in three courts

Mumbai, August 07: Gangster Abu Salem was produced in three separate courts on Saturday under tight security in connection with an attack on him in a Mumbai jail last month.

Salem sporting a white T-shirt and blue jeans refused to answer any of the queries of media persons regarding his security and threat perception.

He was brought in a white bullet-proof car fitted with a blue beacon light guarded by a team of Mumbai and Delhi policemen.

42-year-old Salem, a key accused in the 1993 serial bomb blasts has been lodged in the South Mumbai jail since his extradition from Portugal in 2005. Following the incident, he was shifted to Taloja jail in Navi Mumbai.
