Saleem appeals to Naqvi for grants

Hyderabad: Chairman of Telangana Wakf Board, Mr. Mohammed Saleem represented to Mr. Muqtar Abbas Naqvi, Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs for sanctioning grant in aid for the developmental activities of Wakf properties in the State.

He presented a memorandum to Mr. Naqvi in which he requested him to release Rs. 100 crore. He said that Wakf Board has plans to develop Wakf properties, the income of which would be spent for providing help to the poor Muslims in the fields of Education and Health. On this occasion, he apprised Mr. Naqvi of various activities of Wakf Board. He also told that Wakf Board proposes to setup a modern hospital for providing free healthcare to the poor patients. He mentioned that Wakf Board in its meeting held recently has decided to develop Wakf properties on its own instead of leasing them to others.
