The Golconda Police on Sunday arrested a car driver on the charges of murdering his brother.
The deceased, Ghulam Nawaz Shareef, a Mali at Salarjung Museum, was found murdered at his residence in Risala Bazar on October 3. According to Golconda inspector SN Jawed, Nawaz was killed by his own brother Ghulam Mehraj Shareef, a car driver.
On credible information that the accused was available at Katora House, he was arrested and at his instance one big boulder and blood stained clothes were recovered. During interrogation he reportedly confessed of having committed the murder. He allegedly told the police that his brother used to come in inebriated condition and quarrel with family members on trivial issue and that was the reason that provoked him for murder.
