Hyderabad, August 12: India’s ace shuttler Sania Nehwal started her World Badminton Championships quest with a grand straight sets victory.
She beat Russian Anastasia Prokopenko 21-10, 21-17 in a dominating display of on-court prowess.
The win advanced her to the third round of the Championships. The game also dispelled any doubts on her fitness after she had contracted chickenpox last month.
