Former minister and a staunch supporter of former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, S Sailajanath is all set to get back to Congress fold.
It may be noted that Sailajanath joined Jai Samaikyandhra Party floated by Kiran Kumar Reddy. Of course, there is criticism that the JSP failed to get support even from leaders who fought for keeping the State united. Many former ministers of the Congress joined TD, TRS and YSRCP. It is likely that the former minister may rejoin the party in a couple of days.
According to informed sources, Sailajanath has already held discussions with the APCC Chief and his former Cabinet colleague N Raghuveera Reddy in this regard. Raghuveera is said to have given him a nod. As the party high command has been making appeals to its disgruntled leaders and those who switched loyalties to other parties against bifurcation of the State, the latter are making a beeline to get back home.
