(Siasat News)Former Addl. DGP Mr. S.A.Huda IPS Officer of 1979 IPS batch has been promoted as Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh.
He is promoted by temporarily adding a post in the DGP grade in exercise of powers
conferred under the second provision to Rule 4 (2) of IPS Cadre Rules, 1954.
Government of Andhra Pradesh promoted him under the G.O.Rt.No 1539 G.A (SC.C) Department, Dated: 03.04.2012 and G.O.Rt.No 2305 G.A (SC.C) Department, Dated: 19.05.2012.
Among other officers promoted is Smt.Aruna M.Bahuguna, IPS of the same batch of Mr. S.A.Huda is promoted to the rank of Director General of Police.
Other transferred IPS officers are Sri T.P.Das, IPS, (RR: 1979), Sri Lokendra Sharma, IPS (RR: 1980), Sri J.V.Ramudu, IPS (RR: 1981).
