‘Saffronisation’ of AP High Court

Besides building Osmania University, Darul Tarjuma, Daeratul Marif, Osmania hospital, Charminar, Nizamia Shifa Khana and other such buildings to cater to the different needs of the people, the VII Nizam, Mir Osman Ali Khan Bahadur, also built ‘Osmania Adalat-e-Aliya’ in the heart of the city to strengthen judicial system, which is today known as High Court.

On 15th of April 1915, Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan laid the foundation stone of this splendid building and it was completed on 31st march 1919. Adalat-e-Aliya was inaugurated by Huzoor Nizam on 20th April 1920. You can see that white and biscuit colour dominate in the buildings built by Huzoor Nizam.

The high court was also painted in biscuit colour since its inception, but for the first time in 93 years, the magnificent tombs have been painted in saffron colour, this is the colour used by parties like RSS VHP and Bajrang Dal to paint their offices.

This clearly shows that the communal elements have now entered into all the departments and carrying out nefarious practices with craftiness and sneakiness.

If the activities of miscreants continue like this, God knows what will be the image of our ancestors in the eyes of next generation.
