(Siasat News) It has become a tradition to decorate the buildings on the occasions of religious functions by installing flags. Police removes them after these celebrations come to an end. There are some places, where, despite seeing them, police doesn’t remove these flags.
Some elderly persons pointed out that on a historic building near Gulzar Houz, saffron flags were installed. Initially, one flag was erected, then two flags appeared and in no time, the number increased.
A citizen told that the police removed the flags erected on the occasion of Miladun NAbi (SAWS) festival but it didn’t remove these saffron coloured flags. Municipal office at Sardar Mahal and Charminar police station are situated at a distance less then one furlong from Gulzar Houz.
An elderly person told that in the past, communal harmony was disrupted because of such flags. He said that nobody should have an objection for putting flags but if these flags are erected under a definite plan, there must be an objection. If such flags are put under some organized conspiracy, police should come into action to remove them.
Some communal forces want to disrupt the communal harmony and peaceful atmosphere of the city. They should realize that the citizens of this city have become aware of such tactics. Everybody is busy in earning in his bread. They want bread but not hatred.
It is necessary for the police to take immediate action in the matter.
