Tension prevailed in Jagtiyal town when some miscreants hoisted Saffron flag on the Eid-gah of Jagtiyal. Last night some miscreants climbed the mosque and hoisted BJP flag on the middle minaret of Eid-gah. In the morning when Muslim saw this, the news spread like a wild fire in the town. A lot of people gathered and started protesting. Circle Inspector of Police, Mr. Naresh Kumar reached the spot immediately. In the presence of Mr. Mohammed Riyaz Khan, President of Millath-e-Islamia, Mr. Syed Jameel Ahmed, President of Eidgah committee and Mr. Sirajuddin Mansoor, vice chairman of Municipality, BJP flag was removed with the help of police. The local Muslims reached Jagtiyal police station and apprised the incident to Mr. Subbarayudu, OSD and requested him to take stern action against the miscreants.
It may be mentioned that earlier when the work of cordoning of the boundary wall was in progress, some miscreants sent a letter writing against the Muslim and sent it to the present of the President of Mosque committee by post.
