“Very important aspect of life is safety. Safety is every one’s responsibility. Have the safety culture from the day one” M.P. Naidu, Project Director, L&T Metro Rail, Hyderabad said. He participated as a chief guest in the inaugural session of two day national seminar on ‘Industrial Safety’, at GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus on Wednesday.
“Safety, Quality and Cost are the three important factors. Any organization can sustain only these three things” Naidu said. “All accidents are preventable. But lack of proper training in the unorganized sector, so many accidents are happening” he bemoaned. He explained at length about the safety measures in their company and the vigorous training to their staff etc. by the way of PPT.
Prof L Krishna Rao, GM, HMT (Retd) opined that in India, they don’t insist on standards. “Safety is noting but, your family expects you return home safe and healthy” he said. Prof. Ch.Sanjay, Director, GITAM, presided over the inaugural session.
