The Safari Park in Nehru Zoological Park will be thrown open for public from January 2016. According to the officials of Forest Department it has been decided to purchase 4 new CNG buses for the visitors of Safari Park for this a budget of Rs. 80 lakhs will be allocated. It must be recalled that visitors were panic-stricken after a bus failed in Safari Park last year. Entry into the Safari Park was banned following the incident which created disappointment among the visitors of Nehru Zoological Park. According to Zoo officials the Safari Park has 12 lions and 6 tigers.
