Saddam Hussein’s daughter calls Yemen’s ex-President Saleh “Martyr”, condoles his family

Dubai: On Tuesday, daughter of Saddam Hussein, Raghad Saddam Hussein called Yemen’s ex-President, late Ali Abdullah Saleh “hero and martyr”, Saudi Gazette reported.

It may be mentioned that on 4th December, Yemen’s rebel-controlled interior ministry announced the “killing” of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, as a video emerged showing what appeared to be Saleh’s corpse.

She extended her condolences to the family of the Ali Abdullah Saleh, his daughter Balqis, son Ahmad. She also said that his family supported Saddam Hussein, his family, Iraq and Iraqis after the war. Despite everything our faith will be in Allah (SWT), she added in a tweet.

In another tweet, she said that he stood with the family of Saddam Hussein during Tripartite Aggression in 1991, US invasion. She also wrote that we only ask mercy of Allah to protect Yemen, Iraq, Islamic nation and all the people in the world, she added.
